Requests copies of constitution of details of Home Sority.

have some information on this point. If not

we shall have to ask the R.S.P.C.C. for a

copy of their constitution. As regards the "details of its powers", it would appear that

Hong Kong are under the impression that the Society has some special legal position.

merely takes action under the law in the same way as any private individual might. It might, however, be as well to refer to the Home Office

for definite information on this point.

and asked for a copy of their constitution and any other information they think may be useful.

And send copy of the telegram and

the letter to the R.S.P.C.C. to the Home Office

saying that the S. of S. would be glad to learn

whether the R.S.P.C.C. has any special powers

in this country.
